About Us
The Parliamentarians of Boston, Massachusetts (PBMA), is a newly chartered unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians® (NAP®)
Chartered in January 2021
PBMA Objectives: To promote the study of parliamentary procedure and the educational programs of NAP®, on a local level; serving, but not limited to the City of Boston, Massachusetts
A. Increase acumen in, and provide on-going professional development for PBMA members
B. Promote and facilitate the study of parliamentary procedure basics for young people
C. Assist Community-Based Organizations, social and civic, not-for-profit and other organizations that utilize Robert’s Rules of Order as it’s parliamentary authority in improving it’s practices and the efficiency of it’s meetings, through public workshops and consulting

PBMA offers monthly education opportunities on an aspect of Parliamentary Law
In odd numbered months, PBMA offers a 1-hour Learning Opportunity** (LO) for 1 CEU followed by a unit meeting*
In even numbered months, PBMA offers a 2-hour Professional Development Opportunity** (PDO) for 2 CEUs
*Meetings are for members only
**LOs and PDOs are open to non-members
